I'm not sure if this me not doing it or a bug.

What I have is a page type with restricted access. I want to display some of the cck fields of that page type to other users. So I have a view that grabs published versions of this page type. Nothing displays except the title. I then tick to disable SQL rewrite and I get some fields display but not all. The one that is missing is what I call telephone. I use this field type for the user info too and it is on user registration and mandatory. That would seem to be the only thing different about this field. All the rest of fields appear as soon as I tick disable SQL rewrite. To make telephone appear I have to make the field public.

I think this must be a bug or am I not doing something right.

Yes, in hindsight it would have been better NOT to have used the same field type then I could have changed the field permissions directly. I guess I could add a new telephone field to this type then edit all pages of this type, then remove the old field from this type. That's a lot more work though.
