You project (although great) is a duplicate of http://drupal.org/project/commentsblock
Just wondering why you created another? (unless I am missing something?)

opdaviesI did a search on Google and Drupal.org and didn't find the commentsblock module. I'll take a look at that and see if this is a duplicate.

geerlingguy CreditAttribution: geerlingguy commentedI would argue that this module is substantially different from Commentsblock, in that it uses core APIs instead of Views to put the comments into a block. I outlined this technique, and the differences between this technique and Views-powered comment blocks, in this blog post: http://www.midwesternmac.com/blogs/jeff-geerling/moving-comments-block-d...
I think this module deserves to be available alongside Commentsblock.

rajmataj CreditAttribution: rajmataj commentedThe commentsblock module is supposed to allow for the comment form to appear in a block, but it currently does not work (version 7.x-2.0-beta1 with Drupal 7.19). The article mentioned above does talk about putting the comment form in a block but this Node Comment Block (NCB) does not offer that functionality.
Any plans for the NCB module to allow usage of the comment form?

jpstrikesback CreditAttribution: jpstrikesback commentedActually this module does show the comment form in my experience but I wanted a little more control over it so I added a second block and the option to show or hide either the form or comments for either block. See #1931544: NCB add a block & add show/hide options & use comment_node_page_additions() for more info.

From a site builders perspective both modules are mature do the same thing; Expose comment in a block. I strongly encourage both maintainers to collaborate. If not for Drupal 7 then at least for a Drupal 8 version of their modules. As a developer I have an opinion about both modules, but let's make the best possible module together and give site builders an easy choice.

Sutharsan CreditAttribution: Sutharsan commented@opdavies, don you have any more response on this issue? @morcra, maintainer of Commentsblock is in favor of merging both modules: https://www.drupal.org/node/2285041#comment-8943445. And what about comment #3 to update the project page?
opdaviesI'm happy to collaborate and merge the modules.
