I think this one is outdated. It will take too much work to adapt it into the new APIs, and we already have content_entity_example and config_entity_example.

BerdirIt might be easier to just start with a fresh example, there's already one for a config entity here: #2084301: Add a Config Entity example.
The other part is then adding a content entity example, we're working on something in https://github.com/christophegalli/entity_d8, which we could add for this?
