Could we update the project page explaining how this module compares to References Dialog and other contrib modules?

One important note is that references is for node/user references and this module is for entityreferences (among a few others)

References Dialog supports both Node references and Entity References.

One of the differences is that References Dialog allows you to reference existing content using a view.
