Hello everyone!

I've been to several places trying to find an answer to this issue, and I hope someone discovers this post and helps me out. I need to export user entered addresses as a .csv. I have a module (addressfields) that does a lot of work to organize the address based on the country. When I create a view, the "page" of the view renders correctly. For some reason, the "Data Export" does not. Instead, it places the address all on one line.

This seems strange to me because the body renders just fine in the "Data Export" preview. If the user created line breaks in the message they enter in the body, the .csv contains those line breaks. Something is preventing it from properly rendering the address. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I had a similar issue with txt export correct in display mode, but "corrupted" in the generate file that look as a single line text.
You might have this problem:
http://superuser.com/questions/362087/notepad-ignoring-linebreaks
if you are using Windows Notepad that needs Windows style carriage return code.
Try another editor.
I don't know yet if it would affect certain Windows softwares for processing such Unix files though...
