The tickbox "Invoke widget immediately upon select" (aka auto-submit) present on each global filter configuration panel has the desired effect for some widgets but not for others. This issue was created to track which ones do, and which ones don't.

Works with
o all 6 non-inherited widgets: single-choice drop down, multi-choice select box, radios, checkboxes, hyperlinks, text
o the three standard Date/Date ISO/Date Unix widgets: text, triple select and popup calendar (date_popup)
o

Does not work with:
o Hierarchical Select module
o Autocomplete for taxonomy, core (machine name taxonomy_autocomplete)
o Autocomplete Deluxe module
