I believe we should unify the UI as much as possible, since I often find myself clicking around more than seems necessary. Despite staying on D6 for Aegir2, it seems to me that we could still make some significant UI improvements. Deciphered's recent work in #588728: Meta: Views integration redux could help. Here's a rough draft of how I could see this working:
