hi,
using domain access in combination with a multi language pages seems to ignore language detection by browser settings.
all domains are using the default language no matter what the visitors browser is communicating. am I'm missing some crucial setting, or is this just not yet implemented?
greets

agentrickardFor multilingual sites in D7, the Domain Variable module is recommended. Using stock DA, these features should be implemented using Domain Configuration, provided in the download.
I do not believe that Domain Conf supports browser-based language detection.
agentrickardAll Domain Conf does is set default language per domain. I don't use multilingual enough to fix this issue without help.

AntonnaviThank You for really cool Domain access module!
We use it in our project and need the same feature. It was implemented with adding small additional module (see it in attachment).
After enable this module will appears new tab /admin/structure/domain/view/[DOMAIN_ID]/language-detect-select where You can setup language detection and selection for requested subdomain.
agentrickardInteresting. Would you consider releasing that?
AntonnaviWould be great add it as one of module inside Domain access if it's possible.
agentrickardThe Drupal 7 branch is closed to new features. Ialso don't do enough work with multilingual to support this.
AntonnaviDo You think it's have a sense publish this module for Drupal 7 as separate module?
andypostI suppose separate module better, this will help to dig how this feature popular and prevent more work on port to d8
Comment #9
AntonnaviDone. Separate module Domain Lang was added.
agentrickardThank you!
I don't suppose you have any idea how we might support this in Drupal 8? Perhaps per-domain configuration just handles this for us.
