So, this is my inner grammar cop coming out.
With the shift from "Modules" to "Extend", we have broken the language pattern of our top level admin menu. To wit:
- Content -> noun
- Structure -> noun
- Appearance -> noun
- People -> noun
- Extend -> verb
- Configuration -> noun
- Reports -> noun
- Help -verb or noun, but "[you] help" is nonsensical, so its a noun
Since all the other top-level items are nouns, "Extend" must be made a noune, Extensions, otherwise, we fail the basic concept of parallelism.
IMO this is not bikeshedable. In English grammar, it's simply proper.

webchickNo. We already covered this in the parent thread.
Other desktop applications also mix noun and verb; if anything we can change "Configuration" to "Configure"
