7.x-1.1
=======
- Drupal has been updated to 7.30
- TinyMCE packaging is broken on Drupal.org, the make file uses a different source
till this is rectified. This should have no practical impact.
This release updates Drupal core to 7.24 and fixes an issue when installing on Acquia Cloud free tier, which has a memory limit of 128M. The memory footprint has been reduced by avoiding a full features rebuild during the install phase.
Another fix of note is adding a header in agov_base to enforce IE edge mode. This fixes an issue where government departments are set to compat mode by default.
This release updates a number of modules with security updates. It also includes numerous bug fixes, and cleans up a number of inconsistencies with how stylesheets are used in agov_base theme.
This release updates to features 7.x-2.0-rc2 and also updates a number of aGov feature modules.
IMPORTANT! If you have made changes
to your site configuration, and overridden aGov features, you will need to
check for issues at /admin/structure/features and possibly re-create the
features you have overridden.
This is a maintenance update that updates a load of contrib modules, as well as removes the need for patches.
Note: This update may require a registry rebuild.
If you are having issue's with Bean module while updating, you may need to rebuild your registry. Instructions can be found at https://drupal.org/project/registry_rebuild.
Social Links changes
If you are using the Social Media links, this functionality has changed. After running update.php, enable the aGov "Social Links" module. This will provide a new block which you can configure your social links on. The old menu can be removed.
Updates include:
Split slideshow default content out, so it can be disabled with the rest of default content
Beta6 contains a number of new features, accessibility improvements, and large number of bug fixes.
New Features
Simplified theme structure: we removed the sub-theme structures and consolidated them into the agov_base theme and provided a simple way to switch through the colour schemes in the theme settings page. We also reverted back to Seven as the default admin theme. IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading from previous beta releases, please make sure you take a backup of your theme and block settings, as they will be lost. We will begin supporting an upgrade path once we have a full release of aGov.
Replaced the homepage slideshow: The homepage slideshow now uses a new 'slide' content type which can link to any other content or even external links. Previous beta versions required flagging 'articles' to appear in the slideshow.
Accessibility improvements aGov has gone through an external assessment by Vision Australia which resulted in a large number of accessibility improvements.
Installer improvements: We improved the speed and stability of the installer, and fixed bugs which now allow aGov to be installed by drush, which makes for easier deployment via command-line.
