How to retain current filters chosen on facets? On regular search pages there is a checkbox for that.

It adds a checkbox to let the user keep them or not.

Robert Castelo CreditAttribution: Robert Castelo as a volunteer commentedI've taken some of the code from this patch and used it to create a module:
https://www.drupal.org/project/apachesolr_retain
The option to retain/remove facets wasn't useful for me as I already use the Current Search Links module to display options to remove search keywords and facets, so Apachesolr Retain module always retaind facets.
Would be useful to make this a more generic solution by adding a per view option to display a retain/remove checkbox.
Mac_Weber happy to make you a co-maintainer if you're interested.
