Hello,
Today i tried to upload some images to a customers gallery and when the uploaded no thumbnail displayed on the site. I have tried changing every setting possible to try and fix this but no luck at all. Im not sure if it is a bug or a change on the server but its completely baffling me. Any help on a fix would be very much appreciated.

We are not able to reproduce this issue. See also #1779384: Media Gallery nodes not displaying images I add to them.

- When you say no thumbnail is displayed, you mean that the added files are not added to the gallery? Or do you get a placeholder for the thumbnail?
- Do you get any javascript errors?
- Is there an error logged in the dblog?
- Are the images uploaded (can you find them in the library-tab?)
- Do you have the firebug-extension or a similar debugging tool? What is the response of the XHR-Request?

The image is uploaded but no thumbnail shows. I have tried to uninstall the media gallery module but it has not helped.

You are using the private file system, see:

Drupal core: #1438940: Private stored default images give access denied
Media: #1223670: Media declared private no longer visible: Site broken
Media Gallery: #1274464: Thumbnails are not created and displayed when using private file system

I am wondering, why only one style returns access denied. The lightbox and large styles deliver the image.
