It would be really convenient if theme_table were part of the theme stack in views, so that overrides and preprocesses worked for views tables as well as the rest of the tables in the system. This is just a feature request, since you can already override and preprocess views_view_table.

Seems worthwhile down the road. We might want to try to do this during feature freeze, since it's likely a fairly heavy refactoring.

There has been no discussion here for 9 years and what there was was issue manageme

The proposal doesn't met the Criteria for evaluating proposed changes. In this case, there is not demonstrated demand and support for the change.

Therefor I am closing this.
