Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
The verified CKEditor version has been bumped to include the 4.30.0-lts release. Note that the lts release does not work without altering in a license key via the settings hook.
This release includes an update hook which removes any editor profile using the YUI editor. The text format itself will not be affected. All integration code related to YUI has been removed from Wysiwyg module.
Note: The D6 version is no longer receiving officially listed releases as D6 is EOL. This goes out only because the code is still very similar to the D7 version and it's relatively easy to do. There is no guarantee these will keep coming. (This release is feature wise mostly the same as 7.x-2.6).
NOTE! This release accidentally uses the new array syntax so is not compatible with PHP 5.3. Please follow #3068559: PHP Syntax error - 7.x-2.6 for news. The 7.x-2.x -dev snapshot has now reverted to the long syntax but there won't be a new release just for this.
Note: Make sure you double-check that the 'Enable on summary fields' setting on editor profiles already upgraded from 7.x-2.2 to 7.x-2.3 is still set correctly. The upgrade may have unintentionally flipped its value. The affected upgrade path has been fixed in this release.
The first Wysiwyg release for Drupal 7. Still a lot of todos, and the upcoming minor releases might even contain API changes. However, since the current incarnation works, this is 7.x-2.0.
