After installing the e-commerce module, I find that all nodes now have a product detail tab. It should be present only on product nodes. Alternately, we should be able to specify in workflow whether a particular node type should allow product details, as we can for attachments.

This tab exists so that any other node type can be converted to a product. Actually, it should not exist for true products.
