Hey,

if you copy that template to your theme you should be able to override it as you wish.

However that is a good point. The distribution was designed to be used out of the box, but it makes sense that adding new fields shouldn't require the user to have to move files around. I'll keep that in mind for the next release.

Unfortunately this makes it a non-starter to for us to build off of. I think you could improve things by unsetting the fields you are using in each template then spitting the rest out somewhere else in the template so that you could have the customization of the fields you've built in but new fields still show up.
