I set up a test scenario.. (info: en. about = fr. qui = de. wer)
I used a dns based language selection and translated an article located in http://en.abc.com/about to http://fr.abc.com/qui and to http://de.abc.com/wer.
Strangely I an see the about page in http://fr.abc.com and http://de.abc.com too which most people won't want to happen.
Can this be somewhat fixed at the url aliasing thing? I suggest the code to redirect the user from http://en.abc.com/qui to http://fr.abc.com/qui.. That would simply be great...
In addition to that, http://en.abc.com/about page links to http://en.abc.com/qui and http://en.abc.com/wer as French and German translations respectively.
Can't those links be moved to their own sub-domains from http://en.abc.com/qui and http://en.abc.com/wer to http://fr.abc.com/qui and http://de.abc.com/wer respectively?

Gábor HojtsyMoving to Drupal 7 queue. We don't have a separate code repository now, so no reason to have this separated as if someone is working on it.

marcvangendNo activity for over a year, so I guess this isn't so critical after all. No new features go into D7 at this moment; moving to D8.
