chirilo CreditAttribution: chirilo commentedI have this problem too. I looked upon the video tutorial on how to use Views Autocomplete Filters but I did not find the "Use autocomplete filters" selection after installing it. Is this a bug? Thanks

MattHer CreditAttribution: MattHer commentedSame here.
I use Drupal-7.x-15, Views-7.x-3.3 and the views_autocomplete_filters-7.x-1.0-beta1
but the exposed filter doesn't show up, neither in the autopreview nor on the page later.
@ chirilo, your tutorial video is for Drupal-6 with Views-2, which is different in code and layout

and cannot see the exposed filter.

vasikeyou should have this option for every exposed filter which is supposed to be a string filter.
what filter/field are you talking about? may i have more details?
p.s. i think the video tutorial mentioned is not welcomed here, for D7.

vasikecould you try the latest dev and let me know if there are any changes. thank you

Yusuf.Fidan CreditAttribution: Yusuf.Fidan commentedThe Option "use autocomplete filter" is not available in Fields like Usernames, which is ordinary a autocomplete-field.
The latest dev can not use Textfields. I found that the field-name and the filter-name can not be similar. example: the field name is "field_vp_number", the name of the exposed filter is 'field_vp_number_value'
I got a 'URL not found' error while typing some values in the text-field

vasike@Yusuf.Fidan: you're so right. thank you Sir.
Your post helped me with this issue #1846864-1: Limit the options of the Autocomplete field breaks behavior for (cck) fields. i hope now it's solved for you, too.
thanks again and always

Problue SolutionsThe option is not available in views autocomplete 6.x-3.x with views 6.x-3.x either.
Using just Node title for the exposed filter, the option just isn't there in exposed form options.
