Subdomain for one of my sites

Hello
I want to have a subdomain to handle the mobile version of one of the sites running on my Octopus installation. What is the best way to do it without breaking the server settings. I have noticed that when i change my nginx config file manually and then reverify the site, all the configurations disappear. I would like to have something like http://mobile.mysite.com
