multi_smtp 6.x-2.0-alpha1

This is the first alpha release of the 6.x-2.x rewrite of Multi SMTP.

The primary improvement is the use of Ctools export UI to manage the SMTP server configurations. You can now include Multi SMTP servers as part of a Features module, or by defining the correct Ctools hook in your module. Servers can now be disabled manually without the need to delete them (#1616654: Add an option to disable a server without deleting it).

Upgrading from 6.x-1.x releases

There is a largely UNTESTED upgrade path from 6.x-1.x. Use at your own risk, as it is a destructive upgrade, i.e. the schema is altered by the update and data loss due to a bug or otherwise is quite possible.

Please upgrade your 6.x-1.x modules to the latest 6.x-1.x release (currently, 6.x-1.3) before upgrading to this release to mitigate any possible upgrade path issues. If you want to provide a patch to the update hooks to help it work with older 6.x-1.x releases, by all means, proceed!
