The 'smart-content-changed' has deep knowledge about Aloha Editor's "bookkeeping" DOM changes vs. "content" DOM changes. Hence we should use it to achieve reliable/expected behavior.

Note that https://github.com/alohaeditor/Aloha-Editor/pull/642, which is necessary for a "content changed" event to be fired whenever a user changes an Aloha Block attribute, which is what happens when you change the alignment or the caption of a captioned image (also mentioned at #1697690-1: Aloha Editor contributions). Hence that patch is necessary for this to work well when using Aloha Blocks.
