Is it possible to edit the read more link for every installed language? Now I can only set one text instead of different text for the different languages.

.
Well depending on your configuration under admin/structure/views/settings/advanced (translation method)
you should be able to use the normal drupal translation mechanism if you choose core.

Core was already turned on... The only thing what works is if I manually type "Read more". Then it will be translated to "Lees verder" for Dutch and "Lire la suite" for French. But when I type f.e. "Read more news", it will be that for the three languages...

So you can't translate read more news in the translation ui?

Nope, the only thing I can translate is the title...

Anyone else some solution?

I just added a custom text.
Once it has been displayed, it should be available in the translate interface.

Then I translated the text, but I had to flush cache in order to see the translated text.

It works as expected, at least for me.

Hi , you can try String Overrides module , or just search for the text and translate it in translation page.

Issue summary: View changes

#6 did the job. Clearing caches is not always an obvious solution, especially on a high traffic website where content managers are frequently translating content.
Just like other String translations, they should be available immediately right after their entry.
Is it because Views is caching the more link somehow ?
At our site, Views caching is not enabled so i am still guessing the root cause of this.
