Is development active and ongoing for the D7 version of this module? I truly hope so since it is exactly what I need at the moment. If not, are there any other alternatives that will facilitate posting to YouTube from a D7 site?

I personally do not have time for ongoing development. Patches are welcome, and potentially co-maintainer status if the patches look good.

jhedstrom: I totally understand time limitations. If I could code, I'd be all over working on a port to D7. But, since I'm not, perhaps you could point the way towards getting the same functionality some other way? The project page suggests using Media and Media:YouTube to replicate the functionality of Video Upload. I can't find any documentation for doing so. Any pointers on how that might be done?
