Sup,

Got an issue with the Calendar module (or possibly the Date module, not sure) where I've used a CCK content type for an "event" and when I enter my info and create it, the new node shows up only on the day it was created, and not the day I assign to it with the Date field in the content type. I've read the tutorials and made the suggested changes in the Calendar view, such as removing sorts, removing the Node: Updated Time field and adding the Date field. I've seen a couple people mention the same issue but haven't found an answer that's worked for me yet. If someone knows what the solution is or has seen it successfully answered somewhere else, your help would be much appreciated. I'm trying to do this for a client's site so I need to figure this out post-haste.

Thanks a million in advance,
Tom

I'm having a similar issue on Drupal 5.2, Date 5.x-1.6, Calendar 5.x-1.5, CCK 5.x-1.5.

The events are showing up in the calendar as the date when updated, and not the date of the event. If I remove the "Node: Updated Time" field from the Fields list in the Calendar View setup and add the field "Event: Start time", the Calendar view will not show at all - comes up as a blank page. Cannot seem to get around this.

Thanks for your help.

That is what the default calendar view will do -- show events based on the date created. That's the only way it can work since I don't know what date fields you are going to have available. Go into the calendar view and remove Node: Date Created from the field and sort, and add your date field instead.
