Just to be clear, there seems to bee a lot of helpful workarounds by other users, but for me it seems that this module is abandoned by the maintainers.
After inventing the wheel without clear documentation, I eventually was happy to create my first mindmap...at which point I received a fatal error, documented in another post today. I hope this wonderful module will get some attention.
