Hi,
I wondered if it would not be adequate to ensure that it is possible to choose the server on which we want to record the members images. So D7 of Node Gallery could have a «switch» permitting to choose from:
.../sites/default/files or a remote server.
Could splitting the file where the images a stored from the Drupal install offer some performance improvements? Could it help D7 installations on «small» servers to profit from (sometimes free) bigger servers or «dropboxes».
But then, there is maybe a module that does this kind of task.
Just an idea.
R.
