I would like to use organic groups with Open Reach - will this be straightforward to implement - should I use the Debut members app or disable it before installing OG.

rosemarymann CreditAttribution: rosemarymann commentedDebut Member provides member roles and content access so that some content can be private to members only. Whether or not you use it will really be determined by what you are trying to do with Organic Groups. In many cases, what you may be wanting to do with OG will render Debut Member not needed.
There is an early version of Debut Group but it is in a sandbox version only--so if you're familiar with OG you may be better just to install and configure it yourself for your specific needs.

alicemoon CreditAttribution: alicemoon commented@romaingar - apologies I have only just seen your question - so a little late but yes I got og working fairly easily - the problems I had were probably more due to my learning curve than anything else. Mo major issues with it yet

alicemoon CreditAttribution: alicemoon commentedHi @romaingar - I did look at drupal commons but felt open reach was more suited to the needs of the organisation I was creating the website for - with the introduction of redhen crm I may not need to use organic groups as redhen will hopefully do all the things I wanted to acheive using og
