What happens with the features of the media_gallery_extra module? It is merged with the media_gallery module?

We have reached an agreement with the maintainer of Media Gallery Extra that we will join forces. That means that we will start merging the two projects as soon as possible.

See also upcoming issues #1516168: [META] Upcoming features and improvements which has not been scheduled in Media Gallery yet, but they will be worked on later.
