Hi!

I've been using this module for a few weeks now and it's working great… I have noticed one issue, though…

I have a preset created that is just the aspect switcher set to choose between two different presets:
The switcher preset is called grid-9.
The portrait switcher is called grid-9_520_width_portrait.
The landscape switcher is called grid-9_520_width.
Here is what the original file looks like: http://www.gpb.org/files/news/images/body/200px-isaiah_crowell_in_2011.jpg
Here is what grid-9_520_width_portrait looks like (and looks as I wanted it to…): http://www.gpb.org/files/imagecache/grid-9_520_width_portrait/news/image...
Here is what grid-9_520_width looks like for good measure: http://www.gpb.org/files/imagecache/grid-9_520_width/news/images/body/20...

So here's the problem: when I use the grid-9 preset, the result looks different than the expected result (which should look exactly like grid-9_520_width_portrait)… The image is floated to the left: http://www.gpb.org/files/imagecache/grid-9/news/images/body/200px-isaiah...

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Z

I've heard reports of something like this maybe before.
In theory, the aspect switcher is just a pass-through of the image object being manipulated, but somehow some folk can drop some (size?) information in the passage. May be an obscure pass-by reference slip up, or if the subsequent action does one of the processes that means it has to clone the image object and return a new one (eg define canvas does that) but doesn't copy ALL the previous attributes over.
Just a guess so far..
