Install Drupal 7 and multiple modules to support slideshow. Everything was working fine until I changed to this theme. Now JPG files don't display. I reverted back to the orignal theme and then tried several other themes and JPG files don't show up on any theme. I did try to change configuration settings and nothing seems to help.

Added note: Server Administrator had me rename the .htaccess file since we could not even start the installation process. The server is ubuntu running LAMP. Also, I deleted the entire installation and reinstalled. I noticed that using the bare drupal 7 install I could add several JPG files and looks fine, change themes to almost any theme download from drupal site and the images stopped showing. Initially they would show up but once I saved them and went back to home page is where the problem is shows. At that point, JPG images don't show up. Deleted and reinstalled about dozen times and each time same effect.
