I use UR 6.X 1.1 as part of Drupal Commons 2.4.

I activated UR node access and gave view & edit access to a group and a node to all users who are the relation 'colleague'.

But none of them see those nodes (access denied - even if using the url)

Can you provide more info about what module you are using to deny access? I don't think I have enough to reproduce the error here.

I will respond in name of jandekezel. The module that we use to deny access is organic groups. We don't know how to configure it to give access to groups just creating an user relationship or if there is another way to make it possible.

Please upgrade to the latest version and let me know if you are still having issues. There have been a number of node access fixes recently.

Thanks for the reply!

There was an update in OG and I already update it but I still don't know what to do to give groups rights to a user just creating a relationship between two users. I also tried with the rules but I didn't found the action that I needed. There is just the option to give rights of a certain groups but no to give the rights of the groups that the other user is part of.

Do you know how can I achieve this?

Ok finally I update it properly and now following the steps of the readme file that appears in the user_relationships\user_relationship_node_access folder I can see when I edit or create a new node the "User relationship Node Access". I selected the relationship type that I wanted but when I try to enter with the user that has that relationship, it gives me "Access denied". I have to make something more or it is definitively not working?

Now I am trying to make it with the option "Execute custom PHP code" but the problem is that I check to see if I can select the groups of the user but I didn't find the proper replacement token. Any ideas about how can I select the groups that an user is part of?

Hi mrf, we have updated to the latest version of User Relationsships but the issue is still there.

In fact I see 2 issues:
1. Even though I gave in user permissions only the right to users to grant VIEW rights, users can in the edit mode of a node grant view, edit and delete rights to their relations.
2. Even though I gave view rights (and later tried as well with view and edit rights) to relations, the relations get an 'access denied' message when trying to access the node in question

Still looking for a solution. We did upgrade to the latest version but that did not help
