Trying to figure out how to correct this behavior in the 7.x-1.0 release. Any assistance?

I saw that particular thread, but it was for a different version and was unsure whether or not the patch would correct the issue, hence the new thread.

Did you try the patch hadsie proposed there?

Admittedly I did not; my apologies. I am not very well-acclimated to the code so I wasn't sure if it would be fundamentally different and thus cause conflicts to update using a patch from a different version. I will try this step in the future.

I asked that since I really think the issue is the same (albeit different version).

That makes sense. I think we decided to go with manual SKUs for a bit as we didn't resolve this before sending our products to a fulfillment house. I am going to test this on a development environment so we can roll it out later. Thanks again for the help.
