Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Message with its adoption by Drupal commons for D7 and commerce is becoming a known solution for sending mails. It supports HTML, and even more importantly it supports translated emails (i.e. by editing a field, not via t() or variables).
This issue is just a suggestion to add some info about using Message along side with Mime mail (Here's a blog post with a bit more info -- http://www.gizra.com/content/message-notify-multilingual-email-notificat...)

Commerce message and Mimemail seem to be the only way forward, but there are lots of ways for sitebuilders to go sideways. Having skipped Commerce Kickstart and built from scratch this took me far too long to find out!

If you want to add that to the official Drupal documentation or even to the official Mime Mail documentation, then please do so.
