Page manager is a part of the Chaos tools suite project which is made up of a number of interesting modules. The Panels project also contains a number of modules, of which Panels is one. This book only covers the Page manager, Views content panes and Panels modules.

The modules are installed as usual: download and place in the sites/all/modules folder.

TIP: The name Chaos tools suite stems from the original author of the project, Earl Miles, who at drupal.org uses the nick name merlinofchaos. Apart from Page manager and Panels, he is also the original author of the Views module and is one of the most appreciated contributors to the Drupal module ecosystem. Hats off to Merlin!
