Hi,

I have managed to get a Views slideshow working but I am facing two issues which I would appreciate help with.

I have a site with 4 content types. Each W has multiple X attached to it. Each X has multiple Y and Z attached to it (a pyramidal structure).

X only have one field: an image field.

When a user views an X they need to see a slideshow of all X which are attached to the same W. They also need to see all Y and Z attached to each X when they view an X in the slideshow.

By using a relationship I have been able to link Y and Z to X. This causes an issue, however. If am X has two Y/Z related to it then X will be duplicated in the slideshow: once for each Y / Z related to X. i.e. the same image will be shown 10 times, each time with a different Y or Z.

Is there any way of merging all those duplicates so that if X has multiple Y / Z related, then they all appear on the same slide (maybe as a list?)?

Also, I am unable to limit filter out X which do not have the same parent W. How should I be doing this? (what I really want to do is add a condition - ie. only show X which have the same reference value where the value is the value of the reference value of the open image).

I hope this makes some slight sense to someone and that someone is able to help! If more explanation is needed / a clearer explanation, I will try my best to assist.

Many thanks,

Ben

hmm that is quite a complicated structure. More of a views issue than slideshow per say though. If still a problem, re-open.
