I upgraded from Drupal 7.12 to 7.14. Images are now no longer uploading when I try to upload them in a content type. When I remove the Adaptive Images code in my .htaccess file I'm able to upload images again. Attached is a screenshot if that helps

Judging from the windowtitle of the web-inspector I'd guess you are using it in combinaton with a slider content type. So I think the issue might be related to http://drupal.org/node/1577820
Did you fix the problem by now?

You are probably using a different adaptive image size module, because there's no need for any adjustments to the .htaccess in adaptive_image module.
