Feed Image Grabber not working [#1557696]

Hi folks,

I have been using the "feeds" module for importing the news items into my site.

Now, i have installed "feeds_imagegrabber", but i couldn't get it work.

I couldn't find any option to use "Feed image grabber" while importing nodes from feed.

Is there anything i am missing?

I have the same problem, any solution? I am trying it on a fresh install of Drupal 7. It works on D6.

Have you tried the "Usage" part of the README.TXT file that comes with the module?

To pull in images you use the Item URL (Link) source field to one of your target fields that las "(FIG)" in the name.

I also suggest reading through some of the existing issues in the issue queue for drupal 7.
Especially the ones with patches that need review.

I currently have the module working but am using 4 patches from the issue queue to do so.

There is an issue that affect many people (and has many existing issues in the issue queue) that is (quoting myself):

Are you creating feed nodes or using the importer at /import/[importer_machine_name]?

If you are using the non-node method of importing the module currently doesn't support it.

There is an issue for addressing this properly at #1618324: Remove dependency on feeds nodes, which also has a link to a workaround in the first comment. The workaround allows your non-node importers to use the default settings set on the feeds imagegrabber admin configuration screen.
