I have set up a view with fields showing in 2 columns, and to fill the row, in a grid and in the views preview it shows up fine. When i add the view block to content region on a page the the two columns are bunched to the left of the block. The block fills the whole content area but not the grid from the view.

I am copying a layout from another site and the only the difference is that views is 3.1 on the original and 3.3 on the new. Also the old site has 'use rendered output to group rows' on a grouping field of none. I don't have this checkbox when the grouping field is none so i can't select it...and not sure it matters. I am using the same theme on both sites. As i say it looks perfect in the views preview for the block but not so good when i actually put it into a region on a page.

Can you post a screenshot? Or have you tried to compare the view's HTML output?

the html is identical. The css on views admin is different but ive looked at the css on the old site and I thought it might be css from the system module but the folders are identical on old and new sites. So i can't see at all where the difference could be.
