FCK editor is not working!

I have downloaded the FCK editor from www.drupal.org/project/fckeditor .... also the library file from the www.fckeditor.net ... I am actually getting to see option "rich text editor" but no response or nothing getting popped up when that option is clicked.

Can anyone help me on this???? Do i have to make any special settings????
