After intense search I did not found clear information about Views 3
- what are the improvements compared to Views 2 (I could hardly imagine something greater than Views 2 already !)
- How stable is Views 3 ?
- What is the road map for Views 2 / 3 - Will Views 2 be eventually deprecated, or could Views 3 be possibly abandoned as a test bed for D7?
- How robust is the upgrade process?
- Are existing views kept unaffected?
- Do contribs have to be made compatible with Views 3, or is the upgrade transparent for them? How to know wich contrib break with Views 3?
Thanks in advance

MichelleTo answer some of the other questions, follow #1551254: Mark the 6.x-3.x branch as recommended . I was wondering as well why 3.0 wasn't recommended but it looks like there's some upgrade issues?
