The documentation indicates that 6.1 is for Views 2, 6.2 for Views 3.
Views 3 is not stable.
There are no 6.1 available for download
I installed the only one available release, wich does not work at all with my Views 2 install.

Is there any possiblity to use FullCalendar with Views 2?

The documentation is correct. FullCalendar 6.x-1.x was abandoned by the original author and is not supported.

And Views 6.x-3.0 came out in January: http://drupal.org/node/1393256 and will soon be the recommended release: #1551254: Mark the 6.x-3.x branch as recommended
