So the actual library needed to run the module is missing at least based on the URL suggested by the module page (http://drupal.org/project/flexslider). Seems like long term a repository for Libraries might be a good idea for the drupal.org community, but that's outside of the scope of this issue.

yea well woothemes got hacked/ddos so thats why its offline. thanks for the git src.
they are working on putting their servers back online. i think this will happen soon.
