In Firefox 11.0 on windows and Mac The page content does not scale fully as you shrink the browser width. If you drag it to mobile view it does not scale or rearrange the way it used to. It does in Safari, Chrome, and shockingly in IE also. On a side note is this a first for IE? :P

Does this seem like a browser bug rather than an omega bug?

I also noticed it on my android phone recently but works fine on Iphone and Ipad.
I have also tested the latest Dev release of omega with the same result.
Any ideas?

In relation to the screenshot provided (http://groups.drupal.org/files/Untitled-3.jpg) The "mobile sized" firefox window looks much smaller than FF allows you to scale to...

In my own environment, including FF11 for Mac, the firefox window will only scale to a minimum 400 px width before it starts to "push things off to the right"... You can see this happen when you scale down the width, and at a certain point (seen in your screenshot) the vertical scrollbar on the far right will push itself off the page, making it invisible.

Once that happens (vertical scroll going off to the side) you've passed the limit of firefox's minimum horizontal width. I've seen this in the past versions of FF too... it simply doesn't scale down as far as chrome will allow you to.

Maybe the Firefox people should be notified. I do not know if the same limitation exist e.g. in Firefox for Android. If so it will not work with the brilliant Omega, at least not on older phones with screen width less than 400 px, which is a shame. Jerryitt said he had noticed the same behavior on phones.

Thank you so much a lot for your brilliant work. Being a greenhorn, still only scratching the surface, when it comes to Drupal and Omega I am impressed with the potential. The world owes you and all the good people, who have contributed to Drupal, a huge gratitude...

Firefox for mobile "should" be different and work "as expected"...

My response is only based on the screenshots which is obviously firefox on the desktop scaled down to "emulate" a mobile sized screen... it IS an "issue" or possibly even a "desired behavior" in FF on the desktop to only scale down to a certain size.

While sometimes it is "close", testing a mobile device size/display/rendering of the page on the desktop browser(s) scaled down will never be as good as on a real mobile device/browser.

I have yet to test on a mobile browser (iOS, various Android versions, etc.) where omega had any issues at all. Now I'm sure there would be "some" issues on really tiny feature phone browsers that relate to the size of images/backgrounds/headers, etc., however, ANY modern browser on desktop or mobile should not have any problems with the layouts and functionality Omega provides.
