I have set up a test site on my local machine. I have generated dummy nodes using devel module.
I haven't installed a couple of other modules (panel, views, taxonomy block. )
I have enabled query logging. I found that Drupal execute 290 queries on loading /node page. It is very big count. How I can reduce it.

how many of those nodes are published to the front page ? if many, reduce them.
logged in users will always generate more querries, as these are not cached. consider using one of, or a mixture of the extraneous cache module available in the downloads area.
Drupal default
It is just drupal default /node page with 10 nodes.
