I created a calendar view while following instructions closely to display nodes with a CCK date field.
The calendar works for every view except the current month view, for both the block and the page, where the dates are not placed in a calendar, they are just printed as a plain text list:
Fri Sat Sun Mon Tue Wed Thu 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30
If I move to another month, day, etc, the view is formatted fine with the grey boxes.
What is happening to my "current month" view?

ktnk CreditAttribution: ktnk commentedI tested this a bit more, and found out that if there are no nodes returned for the current view (day, month, or year), then the calendar format dissapears. So If I have content for 2003 and 2005, but none for 2004, then the calendar view shows fine for 2003 and 2005, and shows a list of numbers (dates) at the top of the 2004 year view.
Please fix this.

KarenS CreditAttribution: KarenS commentedI cannot replicate this. First, get the latest dev version of Date, Views, and Calendar to be sure you have the latest code, then try this in the default Blue Garland theme. If you still have problems, turn off all contrib modules except these three in case some other module is interfering with things.
I suspect either one of your modules is not at the same level the others are or that it is a problem in your theme.
Since this works fine for me on several platforms and no one else has ever reported this, it is most likely something specific to your situation.
You can reopen if you still have problems after trying the things above.
