Releases for Panopoly

This release includes an update to Drupal 7.30, which is the first successful Panopoly release to include fixes for several critical security vulnerabilities. See the full security advisory here:

Unfortunately, due to an issue with the packager on Drupal.org, we were unable to make a Panopoly 1.7 release (with Drupal 7.29):

Panopoly 1.1 is the first official stable release of Panopoly (1.0 was skipped due to issues on drupal.org that prevented us from being able to make the release)!

This is the fourth release candidate release of Panopoly! Almost to a full 1.0 release :)

Here are instructions on how to upgrade:

1. Download the latest packaged version of Panopoly from Drupal.org. This will include updated versions of all of Panopoly’s bundled modules, themes, and libraries.
2. Upgrade your existing site to use the code you just downloaded. Check out these instructions for more information: http://drupal.org/node/1223018
3. Backup your database and run update.php on your site. This may perform several database updates for Panopoly and its bundled apps and modules.
4. Navigate to the admin screen for Features (admin/structure/features) and revert any overridden features (unless you have intentionally made overrides you want to keep).

Important notes:

• Panels has a new permission for IPE. To use the IPE, grant users the "Use the Panels In-Place Editor with Page Manager" role.

This is the second release candidate release of Panopoly!

This RC2 release is dedicated to Steve "slantview" Rude. May your routes always be cached.

1. Download the latest packaged version of Panopoly from Drupal.org. This will include updated versions of all of Panopoly’s bundled modules, themes, and libraries.

• Panopoly upgraded to jQuery 1.7 for Drupal 8 compatibility (#1819380)
• Moved UUID module out of Panopoly Core. Made it’s use optional (#1824508)

• Panelized the “Featured” View mode for the Topics Taxonomy (#1791692)

1. Download the latest packaged version of Panopoly from Drupal.org. This will include updated versions of all of Panopoly’s bundled modules, themes, and libraries.
2. Since the profile now includes most of Panopoly’s libraries and modules in profiles/panopoly/libraries and profiles/panopoly/modules, you will need to remove the duplicate code (this should include everything except for Panopoly Demo).

Panopoly Profile

• Massive refactoring of the way dependencies are handled in Panopoly. All make file information for dependent modules and libraries are moved to their appropriate Panopoly module.

This is the forth beta release of Panopoly!

Here are instructions on how to upgrade:

1. Download the latest Panopoly packaged code from Drupal.org
2. Update your profiles/panopoly with downloaded code (this will update modules with appropriate patches)
3. Update all Panopoly Apps by downloading latest from Drupal.org
4. Run update.php and away you go!

Here are some of the updates in this release:

Panopoly + Panopoly Core

• Updated for Drupal 7.14
• Moved all Panopoly Apps from Github to Drupal.org!
• Updated the Panelizer, Fieldable Panel Panes, PM Existing Pages, Token, File Entity, Search API, Search API Solr, Media, Pathauto, Stronarm, UUID, Features, and References Dialog modules
• Added the Search API DB module
• Removed the UUID Features, Better Formats, Redis, and Font Your Face modules
• Improvements to Panopoly installer to improve speed and usability
• Added Panopoly icon to default installation for better style
• Several UI + Language improvement patches/suggestion from Webchick

Panopoly Admin

• Removed the Recent Content administration functionality

Panopoly Demo

This is the second beta release of Panopoly. It includes the following updates:

-- Addition of a "Panopoly Demo" module that provides default content to showcase the features of Panopoly
-- Disabling of the Panopoly Search module by default due to wierd interactions with various Solr services

This is the initial alpha release of Panopoly to be used to test the Drupal.org drush make process and our app server integration.
