I use DRUPAL for my neigbhorhood-centric website, hence I am the only blogger.

I tend to write long or relatively detailed articles.

But here is what bugs the hell out of me...

I will write a long article and post it, then find I need to make a correction.

I will go to the edit mode and find that the bottom of the article has been cut off.

There is no pattern to it, and please I could not give you a word or character count.

It may not even be text based. I have one story with EIGHT youtube images and the last three were dropped.

I have not been able to install the PAGE JUMP (name?) function so the whole article is on one page.

My version is Drupal 4.6 I think (a friend installed it)

Thanks for your suggestions.

I know its not a great answer, but the first thing to do is get your Drupal version upgraded. At the moment your running 4.6.1 - which is 10 security releases behind (the current version of 4.6 is 4.6.11). Ideally I would upgrade to 5 or at least 4.7 - that way you can take advantage of the newest shiniest modules (and things like the paging module should work just fine).

Thanks for the answer.

My problem is probably not gonna get solved soon. The original install was done as a favor by someone who does not live in the Dallas area anymore. He wanted to help me upgrade my pro-neighborhood crimewatch site.

If you know someone who can / will do the upgrade for free and not lose any of the articles on the site, please don't hesitate to point them my way.

Thanks,

Avi
