Most tasks for Drupal.org projects are handled through project issue queues. This document explains how to find the issue queue for a project.
- Log in to your account on Drupal.org, or create an account.
- Choose a contributed module or contributed theme to work on, or work on Drupal Core. A good choice is a module/theme you have used and are familiar with, and would like to contribute to improving.
- Go to the module/theme's project page, such as http://drupal.org/project/views or http://drupal.org/project/zen ; for Drupal Core, the project page is http://drupal.org/project/drupal. (You can find the project page for a module/theme by searching from http://drupal.org/project/modules or http://drupal.org/project/themes.) If you are working on a contributed module/theme, make a note of who the project's maintainers are (upper right corner of the page).
- On the right sidebar of the project page, you will see an Issues section. Click on the link for open issues. (If this project has no issues, choose another module or theme to work with.)
