Hello,

I'm about to launch a shop in German language, and two strings in the checkout process are not translated, though they have a translation stored in the database (as seen at admin/config/regional/translate/translate). That are:

"Shipping information" and "Order total".

All my modules are current, caches cleared. All other strings are translated fine.

Yup, the fact that some strings cannot be translated is a known issue, most of the discussing surrounding it seems to be happening in #1121722: Improve DX of instance translation, so marking this one as a duplicate of that one.
