Hi ..

i have to restrict user to delete existing contents which are uploaded by somebody else.. can anyone suggest me how to provide role to the user..

Restrict user from deleting others' content or the other way round ?

Either way, Goto /admin/user/access (Access Control) and edit the 'Administer Nodes' setting appropriately.

sorry yaar, i have tried with changing adminster nodes.. eventhough other users are able to delete... anyway thanks for helping me.. if you knows any other way plz inform me..

Looks like your permissions have gone haywire then.

Goto Administer -> Content Management -> Post settings -> Rebuild Node Permissions

go reconfigure it and it should work
